This hat is incredible! I’ve had Stetson (I think this is a knock off Stetson) and I’ve had Master Hatters of Texas and some others along the way. This one is ultimately the best in comfort, durability, and style. You can wear it in the blistering heat and it will keep your scalp cool. You can wear it in jungle humidity and the head band will get moist with sweat, but not soaked. You can wear it in a tropical downpour of rain and it won’t leak, but run right off the brim. This hat breathes. It doesn’t come with a hat box, so you always want to store it upside down so the brim doesn’t change its curved shape. After a rain, you want to wear it until it dries.Wearing it in the rain is the best way to break it in. This is because when it dries while you are wearing it, it shapes itself to your head. Then it is always maximum comfort! If you're like me and want an outdoorsman hat, not a cowboy hat, then wear it in the rain and as it dries you can shape out the brim. It will naturally try to go back to its original form if you don’t.This hat doesn’t come it exact sizes, so measure your head and if you are between sizes, then order up to the closest bigger size.I am a 7 1/4 and the Large was slightly loose. I got Outus 23 Pieces Hat Size Tape and once I added 2 pieces of the tape, it was the perfect fit. Then I cut the chin strap off because I didn’t need it anymore. For some reason the hat felt so much lighter after I removed the chin strap.I love that the felt is thicker and not thin like most felt hats are. It gives the hat this durable confidence, that it can take the beating of life with you. It’s not here for the ride, it’s here for the adventure.
